The Circles are composed of operational members and they carry out the provisioning of the spaces of meet.coop: platform spaces, media spaces, venue spaces. They also are responsible for bringing strategic and operational matters into multistakeholder venues - commons.hour, General Assembly, the Forum - for considerations of stewarding.
The circles have their own assembly of operational members, the Standing Assembly (all-hands).

The Online Meeting Co-operative has a sociocratic organisational structure consisting of three circles, with the following roles filled by its operational members.
The Lead in each circle is the PM and point person to contact when someone outside the circle needs information, and makes sure the circle gets necessary external resources to be successful.
Organisational Circle Roles

Legal is responsible for the legal status of our multistakeholder co-operative and any contracts with our partners. The role is currently shared by the Circle.
Data Governance is responsible for our data policies, such as GDPR compliance and responding to data-related requests. The role is currently shared by the Circle.
Business Planning is responsible for our business strategy, including market intelligence, product-market fit research, developing our product roadmap, and financial sustainability. The role is currently shared by the Circle.
Membership and Reseller Management is responsible for the relationship between our organisation and its members, including managing membership statuses, processing new operational member applications, user member accounts, and our reseller relationships. This role is currently filled by Wouter at femProcomuns & Free Knowledge Institute.
Organisational Operations is responsible for maintaining the operational aspects of our virtual office, including access management, process documents, and internal training, so we can collaborate effectively as a remote organisation. This role is currently filled by Calix at Autonomic.
Accounting is responsible for updating our financial statements and managing our wage distribution session each quarter. This role is currently filled by Benedict at Hypha.
Finance is responsible for financial planning and facilitating payments. This role is currently vacant

Membership Care is responsible for ensuring operational members are cared for in the co-operative, and liaises with leads from the user community. This role is currently vacant

Product Circle Roles

Marketing is responsible for the all marketing and promotional efforts, including branding, outreach, newsletter, and other marketing materials. This role is currently filled by Oliver at The Open Co-op and Eileen at Simply Secure.
Sales is responsible for generating sales leads and growing membership contributions to our organisation. This role is currently filled by Oliver at The Open Co-op and Wouter at femProcomuns & Free Knowledge Institute.
Website Development is responsible for maintaining our website, developing content and visual assets that publicly communicates our organisation and its product offerings. This role is currently filled by Oliver at The Open Co-op, Eileen at Simply Secure, and Melissa.
Product Support is responsible for supporting our members in their use of our product, responding to support emails and forum inquiries, and liaising with Technology Management to offer timely support for members. This role is currently filled by Oliver at The Open Co-op.
Product Management is responsible for receiving, analysing, and valuing of user feedback and prioritising of development of the user experience and actual product and services. This role is currently vacant

Technology Circle Roles
Lead: David
Technology Management is responsible for ensuring good communication regarding technical issues between all circles, and addressing technical inquiries from all members and on our forum. This role is currently filled by David at femProcomuns & Free Knowledge Institute.
Product Infrastructure is responsible for managing access and keeping track of our product servers. This role is currently filled by Yurko and Elon at Hypha.
Server Procurement is responsible for purchasing and retiring our product servers and serves as the interface with server providers, managing payments, communicating service disruptions, and resolving hardware issues with our vendors. This role is currently filled by Yurko and Elon at Hypha.
Service Provisioning is responsible for deploying software and monitoring tools on our procured servers to deliver reliable videoconferencing service to our members, as well as maintaining our infrastructure codebase. This role is currently filled by Henning at Collocall.
Service Monitoring and Support is responsible for monitoring our server status and technical support email, providing timely response to ensure reliable videoconferencing service to our members. This role is currently filled by Henning at Collocall in CEST and Elon at Hypha in ET.
